Nitty Gritty Dirt Band‎ WILL the CIRCLE Be UNBROKEN Original Pressing STILL SEALED 3 LP Vinyl 

Very rare and hard to find in sealed condition.

This is an original SEALED pressing of the iconic recording sessions that occurred between a bunch of long-haired California country rock "freaks", (that's what we called ourselves...a term of endearment), and the most storied names in the country music world. Including, but not limited to Mother Maybelle Carter, Roy Acuff, Doc Watson, Merle Travis and a host of others. 
Normally, during those years, the Nashville community looked down upon country rockers, not only as unauthentic, but interlopers. The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (NGDB) changed all that when they treated their musical heroes with the respect they thought they deserved. Some of the older folks were the same ones who refused to allow long hairs to perform on stage with them at the Grand 'Ol Opry. Hell...they hated Gram Parsons.
Now look at country music. Where the hell is the country part? Screaming fuzzed-out guitars, hip-hop cadences and songs that are more than 3 chords. 
But this album is the real stuff. And not only do we get the great playing and singing, some of the chatter between the Nashville folks is worth the price of admission.
Combining traditional country tunes with more modern tunes by Hank, Earl Scruggs, (including a couple of the NGDB's leader John McEuen's originals) and a version of Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides Now). 

There are a few things to note about the condition of this classic LP. The shrink wrap is missing a piece about 2 or 3 inches from the top of the spine. There is also some missing at the very top edge of the opening and a little bit a little bit less than halfway down the opening. There is also a small spot near the very bottom. But, the album is still securely sealed.
There are some little dings, primarily the corners, which exhibit a smidge of "rounding". But nothing serious, in my opinion.
There is also a "Best" price sticker on the front. What is so amazing is that when this album was released $13.98 was a small fortune to pay for a record.
