The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band - Uncle Charlie and His Dog Teddy - Leather Bound Promo Press Kit / Box Set - only handed out to folks in the Music Industry
Leather Bound Box - VG+ or better with some minor corner bumps (mostly on back cover), some very minor peel to glued leather corner sections in some spots. The Uncle Charlie photo is coming unglued in the center and is arching or bowing up. It's from how big the box set is in comparision with how few items are inside. The top cover part was arched inwards because of lack of "stuffing" keeping it flush with spine. Overall a very clean and intact cover, all spines intact, no words on title spine. Some minor edge wear in places to the "edges" of the box, some minor scuffs to cover.
The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band - Uncle Charlie and His Dog Teddy - Original 1970 Liberty Records # LST-7642 // SEALED MINT PROMO // DISC: MINT - still sealed and never opened or played, stored upright in the original owners home until recent purchase, since he received this album in 1970 from the Music Industry for being a club promoter. // COVER: EX+/NM- with one or two small corner dings, tight shrink wrap, small tear to shrink opening on the insert side mouth. Clean and never opened, with original texture sleeve cover.
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band - Mr Bojangles / Interview - 1970 Liberty 56197 (45rpm Black Label) - DISC: EX(VG++) with a few minor scuffs to the 45, playback is clean. Very slight minor storage warp, not even notable. See video. // Sleeve: VG+ with some minor creases etc, one small tear.
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band - Interview #1/ Interview #2 - 1970 Liberty SP-37 (White Label 33rpm Single) - DISC: EX(VG++) with one notable scuff mark on side 2, playback is fine. There is a minor notable warp to this single, see video. Needle and tone arm bounce up and down, does not affect playback. This was from how uneven and thick the stack of inserts is inside the box set. Stored upright it's entire life. // Sleeve: VG+ with some ring wear and creases, one small split.
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band - Mr Bojangles/ Interview #2 "Spanish Fandango" // 1970 Liberty Records LB-2890-78 (78 RPM 10 inch Single) // DISC: EX(VG++) with a few minor hairlines on the surface, I don't think this was ever played, just like all the Singles, any marks came from the few times the original owner moved, or during original transport back to his house in 1970. // SLEEVE: VG+ with minor creases etc.
4 Photos Press Shot Pictures - all 4 photos have high gloss, some minor creases and curl and waviness to the pictures. Some minor corner bumps and creases to certain photos in the set. Overall very acceptable shape. The photos all have some wavy wrinkles to them, but are mostly flat.
1 Extra Uncle Charlie Thick Stock Decal - mostly flat, come curl, clean. Some words and writing on the back.
8 Insert Sheets (6 Single Pages / 2 Stapled Packets) - random news articles and press release information (see video). All the pages are in great shape, some minor wear and small crease and or corner bends on some corners (not all pages, just some). Overall in great shape, very cool so much was documented about the press release to give to radio stations and people in the music industry.
ALL THIS WILL BE BOXED AND PACKAGED SEPERATELY WHEN SHIPPING, AND THEN PLACED INTO ONE LARGER BOX.
The 45s will be boxed separate, the 78 in a different box, the Sealed LP in one box, the leather bound box, and the photos and paperwork will all be separately packaged then placed into a larger box together to ensure a safe journey to the buyer's house.
