I am a professional seller trading on the web but mostly trading at Record fairs and music events around the country. My aim is to provide a quality service and realize the importance of an accurate description.
This auction is for a superb near mint UK copy of the Nirvana album “Local Anaesthetic”.
As a record dealer who has attended many hundreds of record fairs I have a clear understanding of condition and do not overate when grading my items.
So to the description of this item. VINYL. The vinyl quite simply is pristine; there is no sign of any surface marks even under the closest inspection. The vinyl has a near new shine, a record quite evidently receiving little play. When held up to a strong light the condition still does not fail, this is a genuine near mint copy! The item plays with clarity through out with little or no surface noise even between tracks obviously the item has been well cared for and played on a quality deck.
LABELS. The labels are exceptional and confirm the very minimal play the item has received. There is virtually no sign of play around the spindle only one single wisp at the center suggesting the item has only been played a handful of times. There is no writing, stickers or smudges as close to perfect as you can get.
SLEEVE. The sleeve continues the quality of this item the gatefold having very clean sharp edges and been kept in a protective sleeve for the past thirty plus years. There is no writing, smudges or stickers and both the opening edge and spine are very clean with out wear or dirt from finger marks. There is the faintest of wear at the corners to be expected on this fragile non laminate cover but it is very minimal you really won’t get a better copy! The inside of the gatefold is near new. The inner spiral sleeve is in excellent condition with just a few faint creases to one corner very crisp.
