Description
This is an exciting and rare opportunity to bid on and own an influential musical masterpiece. Licensed from Sub Pop - The Tupelo Recording Co issued only 300 ( THREE HUNDRED COPIES ) only of Nirvana's first album in1989.
This second pressing ( TUP LP6 ) followed Sub Pop's original but limited 1000 copies being sold out at the Lamefest Seattle festival during and straight after 08/08/1989. Realising potential success Sub Pop withdrew its license and re-negotiated terms with every distributor.
The label is Tupelo Recording Company and the Cat No is TUP LP6. An 11 track album which does not include Love Buzz as the credits suggest. The track listing is clear on the pictures provided as is the original mis spelt name of Kurt Cobain on all writing, vocal and guitar credits.
This white vinyl LP was taken out of its natural cover as shown when bought in early 1990 through Virgin, BUT NEVER HAD A PICTURE INNER SLEEVE NOR PROTECTIVE WHITE SLEEVE.
This vinyl was taped and then copied through cassettes, and at most has been played three or four times - condition wise it is excellent, although expectedly slightly crackly due to the pressing on white vinyl.
This LP still has its lightweight lamenated sheeting over the cover including the original Virgin price sticker ( which I have not tried to remove )
This LP was manufactured and distributed through Revolver / Cartel, Bristol UK.
