Nineteen (19) Cantor Records

A little background info: I mainly sell audio equipment on ebay, but I've decided that it's time to sell some of the zillion LPs that I have. I use several high-end turntables, all with high-end cartridges, and I use high-end components. I won't play cruddy LPs on my turntables because it's not good for the cartridges.

The records that I'm going to start selling on ebay are not albums that have sat out on top of a speaker for weeks in a dorm room with a pizza slice or a beer can on top of them. Every record I have has been handpicked from larger collections. Before I buy a record, I carefully remove it from the cover and look at both sides of the vinyl. I reject many more records than I ever buy.

That said, I don't have experience as a record grader, other than my personal criteria. I've read and reread the Goldmine record grading standards and I'll use their system for grading.

Audio equipment is graded on a 1-10 scale, based on criteria from the website Audiogon. I typically under rate components, which is probably the reason I have 100%-positive feedback on Audiogon, ebay and other sites under the same use name: Kolledog. I plan to do the same with LPs--underrate them so no buyer is dissatisfied with anything they buy from me.

Until I gain some trust as a record seller, I will accept returns if you feel that any record you got from me is not up to snuff. You will be responsible for return shipping and insurance. After I receive a returned record, I will determine that the record you sent back to me is the same copy I sent you, and then I'll return your money. I think that's more than fair, don't you?

Let me also say that I am not Jewish, not do I know anything about Cantor singers or recordings. Also, I am a terrible typist, so please forgive any misspellings…
