Description
This auction is for the following nine Beatles mono vinyl LPs - all have been visually graded.
1) Meet The Beatles - Capitol T 2047 - back cover has a "6" next to the RIAA symbol indicating that this was manufactured on the West Coast. The cover shows some wear around the edges, but for the most part is pretty nice - grades VG+; the vinyl has some scratches and smudges - grades G;
2) Second Album - Capitol T 2080 - back cover has a "3" next to the RIAA symbol - Scranton, Pa, issue; the cover grades VG; the vinyl has many scratches and scuffs - grades G;
3) Beatles '65 - Capitol T 2228 - back cover has no number next to the RIAA symbol; there is some flaking on the bottom seam - otherwise pretty nice - vg+; the vinyl has some scratches and scuffs - grades VG - small * in the dead wax indicates a west coast issue.
4) Help! - Capitol MAS 2386 - soiled cover from age - vg minus; vinyl has scratches and smudges - also grades vg minus;
5) Songs Pictures and Stories of the Fabulous Beatles - Vee Jay Records 1092 - 3/4 gatefold cover - in pretty nice condition. The top seam has been nicely taped - grades VG; the vinyl is, of course, Introducing the Beatles VJ 1062 - black label w/colorband and brackets logo - grades VG;
6) A Hard Day's Night - United Artists UAL 3366 - the cover shows some wear around the edges, etc - but not bad overall - grades vg+; the vinyl grades G;
7) Magical Mystery Tour - Capitol MAL 2835 - the cover shows some handling and shelf wear - only two pages of the booklet are present - cover grades VG; the vinyl has some scratches - grades vg minus;
8) Revolver - Capitol T 2576 - cover has a "6" next to the RIAA symbol on the back cover; there is some taping on the seams and spine and also initials written on the front cover - grades G; the vinyl has some scratches and scuffs - vg minus;
9) Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band - Capitol MAS 2653 - gatefold cover has much tape on seams and spine - grades G minus; the vinyl grades G with scratches, etc.
