Lovely clean copy of this UK-pressed Fontana International Re-Issue from 1967 (I think).
Initially released worldwide in 1965 on Philips, this Nina Simone studio album has the original title of Pastel Blues.
In 1967 (judging by other Fontana Catalogue Numbers) Fontana International re-issued the album in the UK and the Netherlands with the alternative title, Tell Me More.
This is one of those UK copies.

Vinyl: VG+ Super-Clean copy for its age. Obviously handled and played but still retains a lovely lustre and sheen. There are some superficial hairline surface marks, but play completely unaffected. Apart from some understandable light crackle on the run-ins and dead wax between tracks, the reproduction is fantastic. Any minor flaws are masked by the audio track. No jumps, skips or scratches. Sounds really clear. The labels are standard Fontana blue/silver design. The blue has lost some of its vibrancy over the last 50 years, but they remain clean and free from scuffs and stains with some signs of spindle-wear.
Sleeve: VG+ Great shape for its age, but it does show signs of handling & wear. Laminated card sleeve with Nina Simone colour photo design on front cover. Rear of sleeve is unlaminated, plain white pasted cover sheet containing track listing and sleeve notes. There is a penned name written on the rear sleeve (see photo).
Structurally, the sleeve is sound. Laminate is intact & undamaged. There is some edge & corner wear, but no splits or tears. All the seams remain securely stuck down.
It has survived remarkably well for its 50 years (better than I have at any rate!!) and still sounds fantastic. Obvious stand-out tracks are Strange Fruit & the instantly recognisable Sinnerman.
Nice attractive start-price (check out the seven currently available on Discogs for between £27 and £100) with no hidden reserves. Happy to ship anywhere but GSP applies to overseas.
