Description
1969 Elektra Records UK-issue mono LP in fully laminated single sleeve and plain white paper inner sleeve, cat no EKL 4029.The label has a 1968 date, but the record was issued in the UK in 1969.
Matrix numbers: A Side ELK 4029 A2 B Side ELK 4029 B1
Condition
Vinyl (record fully played through): VG This is a degraded copy, with heavy clicks, pops and crackle throughout, although the second half of Side Two does improve slightly. (see edit below). I don't think that the deterioration was caused by frequent playing, but rather by storage damage. It IS still playable in my view (I have just listened to both sides twice), and it is such an odd and wierd record that the crackle and clicks don't detract from the listening experience as much as they would do with a more conventional disc.
EDIT I have just listened to the record again, with a new stylus. Side One is as described above - degraded - but I would now grade Side Two as EX-. A few (heavy-ish) clicks and pops in places, but plays quite well otherwise.
Sleeve: EX- Light general shelf and handling wear, slight laminate lifting, patch of wear to front right-side edge. Spine fully intact.
