NICK DRAKE - 'PINK MOON'
1972 UK 1st PRESSING LP
This NEAR MINT copy of his third and final album is a UK 1972 1st pressing (not a recent reissue) is on the pink rimmed Island label: ILPS 9184
It is housed within a matt gatefold cover printed in the UK by 'Robor Limited'.
Complete with its original blue Island poly-lined inner-sleeve.

Both are clean, bright & unmarked with no spindle marks to the side 1 centre hole. Label 2 has a small 'bubble' in the paper just above the 'N' of the green Island wording and a single light spindle trail around the unworn centre hole.

Both playing surfaces are 'as new' in strong daylight with all of thier deep-gloss shine fully intact and free from any scuffs, marks or scratches. Close examination directly beneath my powerful, unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than some harmless wispy paper hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine and both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing. You will not need to upgrade this beautiful disc.
Play: NEAR MINT
This copy has recieved just one or two careful plays at most and the sound is warm, clean & clear throughout. My careful playcheck at volume found absolutely no groove/play wear, background noise, clicks, pops or indeed any traces of any audible wear on or between any of these amazing tracks. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.
Cover
EXCELLENT +
A first-class example of this easily worn cover which is strong and clean throughout. There is no rubbing or wear to the front or rear panel and just a two faint creases emanating from the lower edge of the front panel. There is a moderate bend to the upper right corner but all others are sharp and square. There is also a small bump to the right leading edge but no wear or any other damage to the opening edge. The inside of the gatefold is immaculate with no trace of wear to any part. All seams are smooth, unstressed & unsplit and the spine is clearly worded and undamaged.

Fully intact & uncreased with just the inevitable light disc impression but no writing, tears or seam splits.
