Description
Bryter Layter, Nick Drake's second LP. U.S. release on Antilles Records. Vinyl condition: visual grade VG+, play grade VG +. Cover Condition: VG.
Originally released in the U.K. on the Island Records label, this was the first U.S. issue of Bryter Layer, released on the Antilles (U.S. Island subsidiary) label in 1976.
Cover shows some ringwear and scuffing at the edges. No seem splits. Original inner sleeve included. Record has been placed in MFSL anti-static sleeve. The record grades VG+ with some light scuffing and a hairline scratch on parts of the last two tracks. The surface of the record is nice and shiny. Play grade confirms VG+ condition with some light surface noise evident between tracks and occasionally during quiet passages. Overall, a very nice listen.
The record has been deep cleaned with a VPI record vacuum. As a bonus I will include a CD-R of the album recorded using an audiophile turntable.
Deadwax info: Side A - "AN7028A-1A 1T" (etched) "B" (stamped). Side B - "AN7028B-1B 1T" (etched) "V" (stamped).
