Up for sale we have one of the rarest albums of all time and the incredibly sought after 1st UK pressing by Island Records of the 1970 vinyl record "Bryter Later" by Nick Drake.
This is the 12" textured edition that comes with the ultra rare "palm" print, pink rim LP in a complete sleeve. This 3dition is the TRUE FIRST EDITION as the length of each track in minutes and seconds on the labels is not in brackets. This is the proof it is the very first, unbelievably rare edition. The cover is in Good condition with a lot of wear along the spine but little wear to any other edge. There are scuffs to corners and a very small piece of green tape across the top of the spine. There is also some initialing next to a few of the track listings in the back cover. All shown in the pictures.
The 12" Vinyl is VG+/VG with one light surface scratch and one or two light smudges but no noticeable issues or deep scratches. I've tried to show this as best as I can in the images. There is absolutely no writing by previous owners on the labels or discs themselves. The record sleeve is just generic. Overall for an over 45 year old record it is in good condition. This is your chance to own an incredibly rare and iconic piece of UK music history.
Bryter Later - 1970 UK 1st press by Island Records, 12" LP Cat # = ILPS 9134 Cover = G+, wear along spine, scuffs corners as well as ring wear. 12" Vinyl = VG+/VG, light surface scratch and smudge, may pop during quiet bits but shouldn't affect play. Inners = MINT but is generic.
