Grading: VG++ (but you will probably have problem finding a better one, as it appears unplayed)

Label Condition: VG++. Light ring-wear, but only A-side (see pic).

Comments: This is Annette Snell’s first solo 45 recorded in NY back in 1970. Originally released on Love Hill 001, before it was picked up by Juggy Murray. The Juggy 45 was also released with a red label.

 

A-side is a stellar Deep Soul track – a lot of things going on, but everything discreetly understated - the horns, the back-up, the drums. B-side is an up-tempo Southern Soul styled track sounding, which I in a positive way can describe like a Stax-Muscle Shoals hybrid. Soul doesn’t get much better than this!
