Side A: Wolverine Blues
Side B: Weary Blues
Label: Gennett 5102
Recorded in 1923.
This record is graded E to E+ and plays great. Label is in excellent condition. The record has no noticeable scuffing or wear and no scratches. No chips, cracks, or repairs. This record plays fantastic!
Packing
Records are packed with care between sturdy cardboard and the box packed with popcorn or other material. I don't like receiving broken records, I assume that others don't either.
Grading
M- I have seen exactly one mint condition record thus far, so it's unlikely I'll ever rate one an "M."
E Excellent. Virtually no trace of groove wear with only minimal traces of use and handling.
E- An above average record with a slight degree of groove wear, but not enough to seriously detract from its audio quality.
V+ Obviously well played, but still enjoyable. Noticeable graying in the grooves.
V Very well worn, but listenable. Expect the surface noise to be significant. There may be some stressed grooves.
V- Wiped out. Played with the right equipment, however, you may still derive a certain degree of pleasure from a record in this condition.
P Possibly unplayable.
Note that grading could be visual in some cases! I play most if not all of my records and if I have played the record I will note how it plays. Double pluses and minuses are used when needed to more accurately describe a record's condition (i.e., E-- falls between E- and V++). If the two sides differ, the lower grade is used. If they differ markedly, a combination grade such as V+/E-- may be used.
There are no surprises with my records.
