New Order - Singles 12 x 12" Vinyl Records
Full set of 12 remix records issued in 2005 to promote the Singles album combining some original mixes and some new.
The records have been played once and stored, the covers have shelf wear with a few dinks as noted below:

The Confusion records NSER009 and NSER010 have some bottom damage - see photos.

Each cover has a different colour emblem on it with the record label matching the colour

I'd prefer to sell them as the full set - it took me ages to track them all down originally!

After London Records plundered the vault (the Eagle on the cover looking to pick more flesh from the bones of New Order’s back catalogue) this highly sort out collection appeared on New State Recording from January / February 2005, collecting the twelve inch mixes remastered for this new fad for collecting vinyl, got to get all the coloured leaves ! 12″ x 12″

The original mixes by a who’s who or legendary remixers. I’ll let the music speak for itself. Although Hurley does improve the pioneering “Fine Time.”, NW’s attempt at sleazy House..

From Feb 2006 and another mix of Bizarre Love Triangle with a modern mix from Richard X. The unusual track is the “Jetstream” with a duet from Scissors Sisters Ana Matronic mixed by Arthur Baker. A bit of synthpop from the band written by Ana and Stuart Price (Les Rythmes Digitales)

More Jetstream and a tighter , tech House mix remixed by Pete Heller. Trance in places but with the vocals left in. A track from “Get Ready” and single gets a broody remix by Futureshock (Alex Tepper and Phil Dockerty) Dark and Spacey.

Subculture / State Of The Nation / I Told You So - New State Recordings - NSER019

A couple of original 80’s mixes here, with John Robie’s experimental Dub and its weird looped ending.Interesting is the last track, mid tempo and quite folky remixed by Stuart Price, a bit Stones with plenty of fiddle with guest vocals by Jersey Street’s Dawn Zee.

Krafty / Jetstream - New State Recordings - NSER012

All relatively new stuff for the release date. Riton’s (Henry Smithson) minimalist remix is weirdly good. Tom Neville bleeps the song out of existence. The guitars are nice but a disappointing mix. I do like the Electroclash glam stomp of The Glimmers mux, but the groove gets lost in repetition. Fuzzy bass on a loop.

Confusion / Everything’s Gone Green / Waiting For The Sirens’ Call - New State Recordings - NSER010

Confusion goes all Rave via the Tim Taylor & Dan Zamani . Vocoder replaces the vocals on a 10 min acid battle. Mmmmm the Curse of the Remix. Dave Clarke doesn’t do the next track any favours either, it starts okay but soon stomps off into the oblivion. Belgium DJ’s Bert And Maarten Wilmaers, go IDM / Techno on the last track with Sumners voice sitting on top. The best of a bad bunch! Wait was that some guitars and melody.

Here To Stay / Jetstream - New State Recordings - NSER014

A 2 tracker but they are long. Yet again we get a mix of “Jetstream” by the co-writer under his Jacques Lu Cont moniker. All tic -toc drums and bass dominated but a pleasing amount of vocals left in and jet planes. Felix Da Housecat remixes the Chemical Brothers produced “Here To Say” and keeps the electro clash feel. A song is there.

Confusion / Crystal - New State Recordings - NSER009

Another decent remix by Lancashire Lads Andy ‘Koma’ Duckmanton, Chris ‘Bones’ Kirkbride. Breakbeats meld with some original sounds. Watch for the drop! Lee Coombs provides a building mix of “Crystal”, Tech House with a bit of a Progressive, lyrics kick in 3 mins into and saves the day and you get some hooky bass with the guitar. A good 12″

Waiting For The Sirens’ Call - New State Recordings - NSER007

Planet Funk add some Party tricks and makes this sound like classic New Order around the Technique era, perfect !!!! Asle Bjørn’s Dub could Junkie Xl. Prog House with full vocals with chorus being used as the hook with plenty of euphoric drops.

Finishing off with this deep track made even deeper by James Holden’s dub and vocals. Wow!! Funk D’Void add some House Beats, lush strings and take out the vocals, very chilled.
