Description
Okay, the story behind this is as follows: I bought this some years ago and believe it is genuine. It was sold by a rare records collector who acquired it from a royal mail employee. It is a fully signed copy of a later release of PCL. The provenance goes back to the Royal Mail special stamps programme in January 2010 when the LP was featured in Royal Mail's Classic album series. Th Royal Mail PR department managed to get a few fully signed copies by sending them to each member in turn as we all know what was going on with NO at the time. A couple went out as competition prizes and a couple were left over apparently of which this is one. I have checked the signatures against other items I have had signed in person by the band and they appear genuine to me.
The sleeve and record are not in perfect condition but the sleeve would look great framed.
As the LP was not signed in my presence I am starting the auction low. I am currently clearing out numerous boxes of records and CDs which have been in storage for some years and you may have seen I have been selling various New Order items which I will be continuing to do over the summer as time allows along with other items by other bands. I am still collecting but honing my collection a little.
