COMPLETE! This is the original 1983 Factory Records (US) release of "Blue Monday" on 12" vinyl single. It's backed with "The Beach," which is essentially a dub-instrumental hybrid of "Blue Monday." Everything from the FACTUS 10 release is here. You get the original poly outer sleeve with hype stickers on the front and back, as described below. You get the original floppy disc design die cut sleeve. And the original silver inner sleeve. Plus the sweet vinyl, of course, which sounds amazing. Again, complete! The record's been play graded for this listing, as on sound, it grades as EX. There's a faint pop during the lead-in wax well-before the music starts, and some faint surface noise in the dead wax on Side B. Otherwise, plays clean. Visually, the record's graded as VG+. It's not 100% perfectly flat; there's a light warp on the outer edge that has absolutely no affect on play and is only noticeable on Side A. Vinyl has some small sleeve scuffs/imprints, and some faint hairlines seen under bright light (not too many and more so on Side B). Also, a couple small and lightly cloudy spots in the dead wax. The jacket's got some teensy, light creases coming off edges and near the mouth, and one larger one top left corner. All the unique cuts into the sleeve (to create the floppy disc look) are clean and strong with no wear. The black on the cover in a couple spots appear subtly faded to charcoal. I've owned two copies of this one, and both have been like that. It's not a biggie, as you'll see from the photos I've posted. Check those out for a close look at everything. The silver inner sleeve is flat with some subtle creasing. Comes to you with the record inside an additional and complimentary archival poly inner sleeve. Ships professionally packed with extra care in a cardboard record mailer between two cardboard inserts and bubble wrap for damage-free delivery. Factory (US) – FACTUS 10. SELLER INFO:
GREG VALENTINE AS 'ELVIS COOL J.' Former radio DJ, longtime record/music collector, and active seller here and elsewhere. Bringing a handful of my listings to eBay. These are select items from my personal collection. Vinyl is conservatively graded using Discogs grading rules, but skewing more toward Goldmine standards.
SHIPPING: Your package is mailed same day or within 24 hours of purchase (weekends excepted). As a frequent buyer, I ship the way I like packages to arrive. Your items will be packed carefully and securely with protective cardboard fillers (and additional bubble wrap, when appropriate). In some cases, I may reuse sturdy packaging to help save trees. All albums ship outside the jacket in new archival polys with jacket and poly-sleeved vinyl inside a protective poly outer. All 45s are shipped similarly. Tracking info is always provided to you once items are shipped.
LISTING ACCURACY: Like you, I buy a lot of stuff on eBay and other sites. So, it’s crucial to me that an item is correctly listed. All my items have been carefully and exactingly listed. That means you're seeing all the correct info about the pressing, such as year, first press or reissue, and most times, what pressing plant. I also make a point to note when it’s unclear what pressing a sealed item is. That said, I welcome any question you have about any item. I’ve been known to ask a few myself when I’m buying.
RETURNS: Buyer is responsible for cost of shipping in the unlikely event an item needs to be returned (unless there's been a crucial error in the listing or description). If there’s any issue with your order, it can almost certainly be resolved satisfactorily. Simply let me know right away.
