"'83"
One of the most sought and obscure LPs in the history of Minimal Wave music.
Iko was a Minimal/Synth/Wave outfit from Canada. The most notable release by the band is their LP simply titled "'83," which was released on a small Canadian disco label called ‘Manhattan-Formula’.
Not much is known about the group due to little information in their record sleeves and little to no traces of information about the label they released on.
Anyway, this is one of the most unknown yet amazing creations in the entire history of minimal wave and electronic music. Lots of simplistic lyrics, abstract and experimental sounds, and at the time, extremely groundbreaking techniques on the synthesizer. Iko is what today's electro artists replicate - Adult. Being the best example. Their sound is hardly new or unique some 20 years later.
A true ‘cult’ of this genre.

-Zao (computed rhytm & bass, voice)
This record comes with 2 extra tracks (5 and 10) that were never officially released.
Supposedly, only 500 copies exist of the original LP pressing "'83".
This collectors limited-reissue comes in edition of 400 copies.
