Description


LP: The New Jazz Orchestra: Le Dejeuner Sur L'herbe. Orig. 1969 British Press on Verve.

Grade: Cover: Vg++ great condition. Sticker from original store of purchase in london from 1969 on back see pic Vinyl: Vg+ very clean but downgraded because of a few clicks that can be heard on title track for a few rotations. Overall stellar condition: listen to soundclip.

Comment: Neil Ardley Directed LP with the cream of the British Jazz scene including Ian Carr. The title track is worth the price of admission alone. But there is also a killer version of Naima, not to mention a tight take on Dusk Fire. The whole thing is lovely, give it a listen.
