Description
The New Barbarians "Breathe On Me" original U. K. 33 1/3 rpm Long-playing (LP) two phonograph records, Chelsea Records 2R-66, with album cover. This two-record set is still sealed in it's original shrink wrap. These are live recordings. This was the first album by The New Barbarians. The New Barbarians featured Keith Richards (guitar), Ronnie Wood (guitar), Stanley Clarke (bass), Ian McLagan (keyboards), Bobby Keys (saxophone), and Joseph "Ziggy" Modeliste (drums). The reasons for these great musicians touring in 1979 as "The New Barbarians" actually began in 1974. Keith Richards took time away from the Rolling Stones to join Ronnie Wood, then finding time away from The Faces, to record Wood's first solo album. Their obvious affinity, both musically and personally, led not only to Ron Wood replacing Mick Taylor in the Rolling Stones, but to the formation of the New Barbarians as a truly back-to-basics Rock 'n' Roll project. Neatly timed to coincide with the punishment allotted for Keith's 1977 Canadian drugs bust, the band performed alongside the Rolling Stones at two 1979 benefit concerts for the Canadian National Institute For The Blind, before embarking on a short North American tour. The songs on this two-record set were recorded live at Capitol Center, Largo Maryland, USA, in May of 1979. This is the first ever release of that historic show, and is essential for all fans of Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards, and the Rolling Stones. "Breathe On Me" was released in the United Kingdom, in 1980. The songs on the record are (Side One) "Sweet Little Rock N Roller", "Buried Alive", "F.U.C. Her", (Side Two) "Mystifies Me", "Infekshun", "Rock Me Baby", (Side Three) "Lost And Lonely", "Breathe On Me", "I Can Feel The Fire", (Side Four) "Come To Realize", "Am I Grooving You", and "Seven Days". The record was produced by Terrence Ladner. Engineering and Mixing by Malcomb Birney. Art production by Marilyn Krenner. The two-record set is still sealed in it's original shrink wrap; the discs have never been played, and are in mint condition. The gatefold album cover is in near mint to mint condition. There are no cutout marks of any kind. This is the nicest copy of this record album that you could find.
