Description

Up for auction are two original pressings, one each, of the records "In The Aeroplane Over The Sea" and "On Avery Island" by Neutral Milk Hotel.

"In The Aeroplane Over The Sea" is in NM condition all around. It was purchased back in 1999 or so and it was sealed up until a year or two ago at which time it was opened only to convert the album to digital format and it has since been stored in an upright position on my record shelf with a gumsealed protective plastic sleeve.

"On Avery Island" is in VG condition, having seen a lot more of the turntable than a lot of my records. This lp has got a small but fair amount of paper scuffs, a couple of light scratches, as well as a handful of fingerprints. None of this causes any interference with playback. The paper scuffs and couple of light scratches are pretty much entirely superficial. As for the finger prints, take it into your local record store for a cleaning or do it yourself at home if you have the right brushes/solutions/etc and it will look far better. The sleeve shows minor wear along the open edge and one light crease down the left edge that was there when I purchased it. Includes original album insert.

Overall, these records are both in great shape. ITAOTS is in collection worthy condition, and OAI is definitely a perfectly suitable players copy. However, both will fit into your collection just fine being original pressings and all. :)
