Nelson Riddle – The Great Gatsby (Original Soundtrack Recording) LP Vinyl Record (1974)
Very good British gatefold issue.
Featuring music composed, adapted and conducted by Nelson Riddle.
He won the Academy Award for Best Original Song Score and Adaptation in 1975.
Like a number of other soundtracks released by Paramount around this time, this album has never had a CD release.
Condition
Vinyl – G-VG. There are some light scuffs and marks on both sides. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is very good throughout. Some clicking in places and very low surface noise (dust?) throughout. Slight distortion on some chords/notes.
Outer sleeve (Cover) – VG. Colours remain unfaded and bright. Nice gatefold that is entirely intact. Some soiling on outer front but very minor wear and edge creasing and faint disc showthrough outline on front and rear. Reverse shows some soiling and marks. Inner gatefold is clean and unsoiled.
Inner sleeve – VG. Not original. White paper with curved corners and plastic lining. Minor folding; clean and intact.
