Description

An original 1st press of RUST on Reprise for the UK market in '79. Matrix A1/B1. Nice to see the pressing weight is better than you typically get in this period. The vinyl comes housed in an original G&L cover printed in England. We also have the original inner sleeve and the lyric sheet too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In excellent condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and clean and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Importantly it's playing clean on the acoustic 1st half. I did detect a few brief crackles in a couple of spots [minimal]. Other than that a superb player throughout. When you get on to the 2nd side - it is totally rocking out...
Cover (Ex-) In great order and that aesthetic on the front is well preserved without fading. Nothing worse than lightest handling back and front. Some slight wear, but nothing noticeable. Looks like the top edge has been inked in to tidy it up [it looks fine]. The spine is 95% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) No splits. Light record impression. Very smart.
Lyric Insert (Vg) Light ageing. And a bit creased.
