Neil Bogart (* 3. February 1943 as Neil E. Bogatz in Brooklyn, New York City; † 8. May 1982 in Los Angeles) was an American managerand record company boss. He was the founder of the label Casablanca Records and founded after he left there the Boardwalk Records,in the Joan Jett published in 1981 I Love Rock 'n Roll. According to him, the Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program is named.
In the 1960s, Neil Bogart stepped under the name Neil Scott as a singer and released an album and several singles with Portrait Records, of which the song Bobby a small hit in the in June 1961 United States was. [7] The Scott-single " One Piece Bathing Suit "was later published again, this time by 20th Century Fox Records and under the stage name" Wayne Roberts ". In April 1967, the last single, (I Do not Stand) A Ghost of a Chance With You, the label Cameo / Parkway Records out where Bogart worked until this year. Cameo / Parkway was closed down by the US authorities in 1968, after the operators share fraud had been detected.
The name "Wayne Roberts" Bogart had used in 1964 when he received a (clothed) appearance in the erotic film Sin in the Suburbs directed by Joseph W. Sarno had. [8] He appeared in 1970 again, this time in connection with the erotic film The Affairs of Aphrodite, in the "Wayne Roberts" Antiochus plays....All records satisfaction guaranteed...
