Negative FX - Self Titled LP. 1st Pressing. 1985. Taang! Records #5. Boston Hardcore Punk. Rare. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
First press on black vinyl w/ black & white labels, 3000 copies made.
Recorded in April and November 1982 @ Radiobeat, Kenmore Square, Boston, MA.
Posthumous release.
Record was scheduled to be issued in 1984 but was delayed up until Summer 1985.
Track B5 title is for "I Don't Need This Fucking Shit."

This record is in amazing condition for a used punk record from 1985. There are a handful of scratch / smudges on either side but they are all extremely light. There are a couple longish ones, but they are mostly on the run-out groove. There may be a few pops and clicks noticeable between songs, if at all, but this record likely still sounds great! VG++
No insert was included with this release. Just a plain white dust sleeve which is still clean and new looking.
The cover is also in great shape. There is Light ring wear visible at the top and bottom middle areas of front and back but it is a very minor blemish. There are the usual handful of light, faint veins near the left and top edges but they are much fewer in number than I am used to seeing, and all are short. The 4 corner tips have Light to Moderate wear depending on the corner but it is just at the tips. The Spine edge has Light wear but the title text is mostly intact. The shelf edge has Moderate wear but it is only visible from the bottom and it blends in with the white cover. Overall this cover still looks very good and easily rates VG+
Grades that I use are G-, G, G+, G++, G+++, VG, VG+, VG++, VG+++/EX, NM. I won't be describing anything as M or MINT unless it is unopened and the packaging is completely unblemished. Records that have never been played but HAVE been opened, will be described as Near Mint or NM. These are the adjectives that I use when describing damage: Very Light, Light, Moderate, Severe, Catastrophic. To describe damage in between those ranks I say things like: "Moderate leaning towards Severe," "Moderate leaning towards light," or "In between Light and Moderate"...just for example.
