NECROPHAGIA "Ready For Death" picture LP Morgana La Fey Music (1990). Originally recorded in 1986, but not released until 1990. This is the original first LP recorded even before "Season of the Dead". Supposedly the tapes were "lost" and most of the songs were re-recorded for the "Season of the Dead" album (1987). And then in 1990 someone decided to put out the original first album from 1986 (much like Morbid Angel's "Abominations of Desolation")  I'm not sure how many of these were pressed, but my guess would be around 1000.  Record is MINT and cover is NEAR MINT with just a very slight bend or two that you can't even see in the photo, they are so light. Damn near pefect, I was tempted to call it MINT. Includes original insert / advertisement for New Renaissance Records (they must have had something to do with this release). Also includes original sticker that was on the plastic wrap when I bought it (see scan).

NECROPHAGIA is a legendary Death Metal band from Ohio, and one of the key players in the creation of the death metal movement, along with Mantas/Death, Morbid Angel, etc.  Vocalist and main man "Killjoy" has also been involved with The Ravenous, Viking Crown, Wurdulak, Cabal (US), Forlis, Hidden (US), Enoch (US), Eibon (US), Obscene Eulogy  etc. Would appeal to fans of early Death, Autopsy, Incubus, NunSlaughter, Goatlord, Mayhem, Morbid Angel, Incantation,  etc.
