2LP 1981 God'sGolfball DON-12981.
Vinyl housed in VRP album sleeves.
This is a quality part-official release, packaged in a regular card-weight gloss-print sleeve, with a photo of Vliet and one of his sketches on the cover - printed 3 color.
This is possibly an actual God's Golfball project, a concept/company belonging to Vliet for a short period. The apparently random cat# is actually the recording date. The quality of the package is very high.
Apart from the addition of the last 2 tracks, from difficult to acquire singles, this album is simply a live recording of the band's performance at The Country Club, Reseda, California on 29th January 1981. The credits give the recording source as those of Wally Heider Sound's remote facility, which explains the sound quality.
Record will be shipped in Premium Whiplash LP Mailer.
From my personal collection, stored in a climate controlled, smoke free environment in protective sleeve for over 25 years.
