Description
The Capitol Years Nat King Cole set includes 18 of his Capitol Records albums as well as a 13 page booklet about Cole including photos. The box has a faux leather look with gold lettering. This set was put out in 1987 in the UK. I bought it while living in England. I am not a record expert. All I can say is that most of these albums look like they have never been played or even removed from the sleeves. I did take them out of the sleeves to verify their condition. "The Very Thought Of You" with Gordon Jenkins and His Orchestra is the only one I see marks on and they don't seem like anything that would cause playing problems, but I do not own a turntable anymore so I can't test it. The covers and the sleeves are also in beautiful condition except that there is a crease across the upper right corner of "The Touch of Your Lips" cover. The box & booklet are also in great condition. Since I have provided photos of all the albums I am not going to list the names. I searched eBay past & present auctions and found no other set like this so I assume it's not easy to come by, but again I am no expert in this area.
