Description

NY N*GGERS 7”

O.K. Here it is… SIGNED, ORIGINAL PRESSING copy of the NY N*GGERS Just Like Dresden ’45 b/w Headliner 7”… limited to sumpin’ like 100 copies or somesuch nonsense…

What is it?...
It’s a killer Killed by Death single by a band from NY, that might’ve been via DETROIT and that maybe could’ve been black, even… Smokes big time inna Heartbreakers meets Strike Under way… But you knew all that…

Where did I find it?...
In a bin, on the floor in TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA during the last days of THE RECORD PEDDLER on Queen Street about 5 years ago or so. Kind of knew what I found when I found it but eh, NOT REALLY. I’m not a Killed By Death type-o-guy, as far as collecting goes, in any stretch of the imagination, but I did have a suitable enough memory that when I saw it, I said something like this “Hey this band was on one of those KBD thingies, I think! Whatta crazy name! I think this is rare!” Grabbed the record, put it with the rest of my crap (a CRIME 7” and a record by a fat guy who called himself THE BEAST were the only other finds, the rest were some truly awful punk rock singles), bought it and got outta there without asking any questions (for fear of the chump behind the counter going “Oh hey… actually, this isn’t for sale! So, like, give it back to me.”)… Spun the record, made a dub, looked it up online, crapped pants, put it away in a box, and went and lived life in a bunch of other places for the next five years, came back, opened various boxes, decided to start selling off punk records. And, well, here’s one of ‘em…

What shape is it in?...
NEAR MINT – 3 scratches on Side A (“Headliner”)… The first two, both about half-an-inch come out from the label bleed, the other one comes from the edge bleed and is about a quarter inch in length. 1 tiny 1/32” scratch on Side 1 (“Just Like Dresden ’45”) from the edge bleed inward. It should be noted that these scratches are not of the skip/jump variety.

It’s signed???...
Yup. On both sides. The label is signed in pencil to “Kathleen from ______ _______” The first and last name of one of the members (who also wrote one of the songs) is given but I’ll let the winner disclose thatta piece o’ info (seeing how you Killed By Death dudes are a bunch of amateur private dinks, I’m sure ya’ll will want to track down Mr. Faison and pester him till he bleeds. If he ain’t a bag o’ bones, that is…) .

Why the reserve???...
Yeah, sorry. I don't like 'em either... The only reason why there is a reserve is in case eBay takes down or limits who can see the auction due to the use of the BAD WORD that happens to be in the band name. eBay don't like them types o' words cuz a word like that'll turn society on its rear end.

Anything else?...
Not really. It’s on NYN Records with a Greenwich St. address. Matrix # is NYN-100. FIWNYC HP is marked in the bleed. Side 2 is mislabeled as Side A. Label is in great shape as well, solid grey. That's lens-flare in the photo. And uh, that’s all folks!

You’re paying shipping costs, so any special express post overnight thingy can be done at your expense. Let me know… Otherwise, thanks!

Note: Apologies to those watching the item before, I had some problems with eBay due to search terms and had to re-list. Everything is peachy keen. For now.
