RARE - Blood Money ORIGINAL 1987 pressing of "BATTLESCARRED". Condition is "Used".
BATTLESCARRED
Unlike other “Genuine” copies of this 12” Vinyl release by Blood Money this BATTLESCARRED is an original and VERY rare 1987 first pressing release of the album signed by lead vocalist Danny Foxx.
Released by Ebony records in 1987, which I believe was the tail end of the NWOBHM.
The LP has been played a lot by me and was looked after;however, I have no way to check if it still plays well.
I can see a few slight surface marks on the playing surface but they don’t look like they would affect playability…see pic’s.
The LP is my last original copy.
It is sold as is. Or sold as seen and described.
"When we recorded this, our 2nd album, we continued with our belief that the ridiculous amount of time some bands were taking in recording their records was a waste of time and detracted from that “live” feel.Some bands were in the studio for over a year or more to record an album. Blood Money recorded and mixed Battlescarred as we did the first album in 2 weeks. Again we decided we would record everything 3 times and the best of those recordings went on the album. It’s raw and made with no apologies and a fair number of these tracks were laid down in one take!"
