NURSE WITH WOUND Psilotripitaka 4xLP Box Set VERY RARE!

Exceptional copy of one of the first 1000 copies of this very rare LP box set from Steven Stapleton’s legendary Industrial surrealists Nurse With Wound. This set collects their first three LPs – 1979’s Chance Meeting On A Dissecting Table Of A Sewing Machine And An Umbrella, 1980’s To The Quiet Men From A Tiny Girl and 1980’s Merzbildschwet alongside a special bonus disc that only came with early copies, The Ladies Home Tickler featuring Duelling Banjos and Registered Nurse Second Coming with Willliam Bennett (Whitehouse) and Jim Thirwell joining regular members Stapleton, Pathak and Fothergill. These records have much more of a group feel than the later, cold, clinical studio creations of Stapleton, with acid-rock guitar blazed all over the first album and the use of rhythmic Industrial percussion and deep pools of microscopically populated drone. Some of the most important and influential recordings to come out of the UK underground.

The set is in stunning condition, easily the best to ever pass through our hands. There is some slight corner scuffing on the box itself but otherwise it looks as new and the individual sleeves inside are in Mint condition, as are all the inserts (Chance Meeting... includes a copy of the legendary ‘Nurse list’). The vinyl is Mint/Unplayed so this is a very rare opportunity to score the set almost as-new. 1990 United Dairies UD-134.
