In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. What distinguishes an Original master Recording LP from any other record ?
1. Original Master Recordings are exclusively transferred from the original stereo master tape that the musicians recorded in the studio (not from a second, third, or fourth generation copy of that master tape).
2. Each Original Master Recording employs Mobile Fidelity Sound lab's exclusive half-speed mastering process, thus capturing every nuance of sound from the master tape.
3. Quality, not quantity, is the overwhelming consideration in the creation of each Original Master Recording. The number of pressings is strictly controlled. These limited editions assure you that the quality of the last pressing matches the quality of the first.
4. Original Master recordings are custom pressed overseas by the Victor Company of Japan (JVC). By the powers that be we can't photo the genuine front cover of the legendary red-head ... but make no mistake, this is the one...the withdrawn in 1970 first pressing artwork...
BLIND FAITH was cursed at its very inception by being billed as a supergroup. This was truly a pity, because for all the classic beauty of its only recording, Blind Faith was a band that never had a legitimate opportunity to come together as a performing ensemble. Hyped to the hilt and rushed into a massive, chaotic tour, the band fell apart after its final American concerts when Eric Clapton packed it in.
BLIND FAITH scored a big hit with its evocative ballad "Can't Find My Way Home," featuring Winwood's raspy falsetto, Clapton's poignant guitar, and Baker's pulsing brush work. But then, every song on BLIND FAITH has become a classic FM radio staple. "Presence of the Lord" with Winwood's fervent vocals, "Had to Cry Today" (featuring Clapton's dense, multi-tracked blues leads), and the jacked-up rockabilly grooves on "Well Alright," are all good examples. But the band never had much of a life outside the studio, and after Blind Faith folded, Winwood and Grech joined Baker's Air Force before reforming Traffic. Clapton began moving away from extended improvisations into more tightly structured song forms on his first solo album, ERIC CLAPTON, and proceeded in the same direction with Derek & The Dominos. Some fans (here) highlight the long 'Do What You Like" (a Ginger Baker composition) as the albums finest moments, complete with percussion work like only the master can supply....
