Description

This is an original 1972 US 1st press of the double vinyl album 'Nuggets - Original Artyfacts From The First Psychedelic Era 1965-1968' on the Elektra record label.

It is a psychedelic rock compilation and is quite a rare find. With Cat. No: 7E-2006 STEREO and matrices:

7E-2006 A-1-CP MM ESR

7-E2006 B-1-CP MM ESR

7-E2006 C    CP MM ESR

7-E2006 D-1 CP MM ESR

This comes complete with its original 'Something out of the ordinary' Elektra inner sleeves.

Both vinyls are in VGC+. They have retained their gloss and both have some hairlines from previous play, though no major marks. Both records played beautifully, however, and are graded as excellent with no faults including minimal crackle. Labels are undamaged with very little spindle trail.

Outer gatefold is also VGC+. This is a solid cardboard sleeve and although there is no major damage there is some scuffing along all edges with the worst being along the top edge as shown. The overall look, however, is nice and well preserved for its years. The spine is fully readable.

Both inner picture sleeve have no damage. They have a little creasing but are otherwise excellent.

I grade all of my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.

I always test play my records on a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable with Ortofon cartridge stylus unless they are in near mint/ mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.

All of our Vinyl is professionally cleaned using a Pro-Ject VC-S record cleaning machine.

The record is then packaged in a protective anti static sleeve and then posted in a robust top of the range custom cardboard record mailer.
