NOT WAVING BUT DROWNING, Indie Dark New Wave Goth Synth
Not Waving But Drowning.
Various artists compilation.Fairly scarce, possibly private pressed, 1983 UK manufactured Little Sister Records LP, LISI 002.
Vinyl in near mint condition. Spider trail marks at centre spindle areas indicates just one or two plays. Surfaces have a good gloss still and are free of any marks.
Playback is excellent throughout and free of crackle or ticks.
Labels are clean and unmarked.
Sleeve is close to EX and without any major defects. Glossy predominantly black sleeves never photograph well, but the front and rear panels still have rich and deep black colouration and are not faded or stained. No sticker, pen or other marks. Fairly neat approx. two inch seam split to top centre, else edges are unchipped and unsplit, and tips only fractionally rubbed. Just a touch of ringwear impression, but without breaking or scuffing of surfaces. Gentle diagonal crease to bottom left corner. Entry side is not feathered but has a small dink to both front and rear about two thirds down from top.
All in all, a pretty well preserved issue of this scarce LP however.

A Note On Grading:Note that audio grading is subjective and based on sensitivity of equipment used for playback. In this instance playback has been tested on a vintage Technics Quartz Direct Drive SL1700 MKII turntable with Shure cartridge, Technics SU-C 03 amp and Technics SB-F2 Linear Phase speakers.
Also note that I generally do not clean vinyl unless so noted. Most vinyl will show improved playback quality with your preferred cleaning method, but I leave this to the prospective buyer, as controversy still surrounds the ideal method of cleaning vinyl.
