Description
After taking some time off from Ebay (for personal reasons) a couple years ago, I'm ready to continue parting with items from my
collection of nearly 40,000 promo singles, LP's & CD's from the 60's thru the 90's that I was fortunate to acquire from
doing 35 years of Rock Radio. All of my records are guaranteed original pressings.
In the 80's I advertised and auctioned off thousands of records in Goldmine magazine under the name of Hemp's Hits.
If you are a previous customer, you already know of my integrity as an honest dealer.
Those of you who are not familiar with me need only to check my Feedback. You can bid with complete confidence.
These records were sorted, stored, moved a few times, and then stored again for decades. Some carefully, others were not.
All of my gradings are strictly visual, and more often than not, quite generous. However, because of various quality in pressings,
I cannot guarantee that the pressings themselves will be noise-free. That comes with the territory.
Many 50's (e.g. Chess, Vee-Jay, etc.) & 60's pressings, especially the small independent labels, were pressed "on-the-cheap."

MY GRADING SCALE
Grading below is for the disc only. I'll throw in the corresponding sleeve when possible.
Sleeves show some natural wear from 40 years of storage. Many are perfect, others are not.
(remember...unless noted,these records, to the best of my knowledge have never been played)
NM (Near Mint): Record will show no serious scuffs or scratches in the playing area. May have minor scuffs on edges from
decades of storage, or a small scuff, scratch or paper scuff on playing area. It's near mint, not mint (which would be 'sealed' to me)
M- : A scuff or two or light scratch or two on either or both sides.
VG+: Scuffs and some minor scratches in the playing area. Some will most likely be heard.
VG: Many scuffs or scratches that will be heard but record should play fine.

Original Palmer 45 from 1967
Visually Graded Condition of disc : VG++
(Although 99% of the records I normally sell are unplayed, this one was our on-air copy, and has been played a number of times. However, condition is
really excellent...in fact, without the plays, I would have graded this M-. Playing areas are virtually scratch-free...with the lead-in area containing a number
of scuffs from handling alone. Date stamp and sticker on one-side label only. My eyes are no longer good enough to remove these stickers, so I'll let 'you' do it, if it's important.
Palmer James was from here in Grand Rapids. I just discovered last week, that he is still alive and well living here, with an unlisted address and phone number.)
