Released in 1971, I have the pleasure of offering today this mega rare NEAR MINT 1971 ARGO label first and only UK pressing of this mega rare progressive rock /Jazz album by NORMA WINSTONE titled "EDGE OF TIME". This is one of the most sought after UK jazz albums and it is in NEAR MINT collectible archive condition. This album rarely turns up and this copy is a beauty.
The album features some great musicians including ALAN SKIDMORE, ART THEMEN, HENRY LOWTHER, MALCOLM GRIFFITHS, FRANK RICOTTI, JOHN TAYLOR, CHRIS LAURENCE, TONY LEVIN, MIKE OSBORNE, KENNY WHEELER, PAUL RUTHERFORD etc
The album comes complete with its original Senol printed fragile single sleeve which is a very respectable clean example with partly legible spine text, No splits or unwanted writing etc but shows some light creasing to the top left corner but nothing serious.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and it plays through nicely with stunning audio. Needless to say absolutely no sticks or skips etc.
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually looks near mint & audibly is in superb near mint condition. I have just played it through and can state that the album plays nicely with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips or pops etc.
The SLEEVE, The Senol printed single sleeve is in excellent condition. No splits or unwanted writing etc very clean with fully legible spine text but has a light crease on the corner.
The LABELS, The yellow ARGO labels are very clean, showing virtually no spindle traces. It looks like it has only been played once or twice. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc a true archive example.
The INNER, The generic inner sleeve is clean and free from unwanted writing etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
