Description
CLIFF EDWARDS, with his educated Ukulele and vast syncopated vocal ability rose to probably the greatest fame of anyone of his stripe, ultimately becoming the beloved voice of Jiminy Cricket in Walt Disney's "Pinnochio." Before that, he was a great success in Vaudeville and Broadway, with songs such as "HOW SHE LOVES ME IS NOBODY'S BUSINESS" and "THE LONESOMEST GIRL IN TOWN.
On this record, he is greatly assisted by his "Hot Combination" - RED NICHOLS (cornet), MIFF MOLE (trombone), ARTHUR SCHUTT (piano), DICK McDONOUGH (guitar) and VIC BERTON (drums). These boys provide walloping fine jazz accompaniment, and a little more!
This original 1925 Pathé Actuelle 25160 is in E- condition on "Nobody's Business," a skosh less (V++) on "Lonesomest." Overall, one of Cliff's best records!

These records come from my private collection, which I have been accumulating since 1967, and now am downsizing! My highest priority in these eBay auctions is to give you the best possible idea of a record’s true condition and aesthetic value. I always post at least four clear images, showing the record fore and aft, a close-up of the label, and the whole disc, warts and all. If my purple prose won’t cut it, the pictures will! Shipping is done with expert care. Your record will brave Media Mail in a stout corregated box, between four sheets of cardboard and a couple of “packers.” I hope you are amused by these descriptions, and by the quality of service being offered.
