NM LP: Man Or Astro-Man? - "Made From Technetium" - Original 1997 Touch And Go Release - TG180

Fully play-tested before being offered for sale. I bought this record new when it was first released.
Visual Record Condition: The vinyl condition is Near Mint. The record is glossy with no significant wear. There is a very, very slight wave seen while the record spins - primarily when Side A is facing up. This has no effect on play, but just needed to be mentioned. See the video in the photos section.
Record Labels Condition: The labels look great with no wear to speak of. The text is easy to read. There is no writing or stickers on the labels.
Play Test Notes: I played this album from start to finish before offering it for sale. The record sounds great. Background record surface noise is negligible. The record plays like new. There were no skips or sticks, of course. This was one of the few times this record was actually played. In the nineties I still recorded vinyl to audio cassette or CD on first listen after which the albums were stored on the shelf inside a protective outer poly sleeve for eternal safekeeping.
Jacket Type and Condition: The glossy LP jacket is in Near Mint condition. General wear is minimal. Edge wear is minimal. Corner wear is generally very light. There are a couple of tiny corner dings. A few little squiggly surface crease lines can be seen on the edges at upper left. The lettering on the spine looks great. There are no seam splits and no writing. Please examine the photos closely for a fuller understanding of condition. The jacket has been housed in a protective clear outer poly sleeve to help prevent wear for all of the years I've owned the album. I just replaced that old poly sleeve with a fresh one for you.
Inner Sleeve Type and Condition: The inner sleeve is plain white and in near mint condition with no seam splits.
Inserts: A fat little fold-open catalog was inserted in the record jacket. I blame this fat little thing for the little bit of a wave in the vinyl described above. It didn't occur to me to remove the catalog before the record went into semi-permanent storage in 1997. Nonetheless, the catalog is a nice addition and is in Near Mint condition.
Shipping Notes: I've been selling records by mail since 1992. I know a thing or two about packing records safely for shipping, using appropriate, professional grade packing materials. The shipping charge you are asked to pay covers some of the costs I incur for postage and quality packing materials. This record will be packed well for secure shipping. By default the package will travel by the potentially slower USPS Media Mail rate. For speedier delivery, options to use USPS Ground Advantage or USPS Priority Mail shipping are provided at check-out. I generally pack and ship items sold right away and hand them over to the post office at the earliest opportunity (sometimes same day, sometimes next day). If signature tracking is used for shipping, the mail carrier will be required to hand the package over in person.

If appropriate I will add insurance coverage. Sometimes I will add signature tracking (USA) when your item is shipped. Signature tracking ensures that the postal service doesn't leave your valuable item unattended on your doorstep out in the sun or rain - it has to be handed over face to face. If you order something rare and/or worth a bit, be prepared to have to accept delivery in person.

When multiple items are shipped together, I can almost always give you a better deal on the shipping cost compared to the individual shipping costs. I promise to give you the best rate possible based on the items purchased and the shipping method required.
For "Buy It Now" items (most of what I offer), simply add each item that you want to your shopping cart. When ready to commit to buying, request a total from me from your cart and I'll send an invoice as soon as I can. Since I'm not a computer and I do other things like sleep and take the dogs for walks, you might not receive an immediate response, but I will get back to you as soon as possible. If you decide to pay for items you want individually instead of requesting a total from the shopping cart, I will promptly send back whatever money I can for a shipping discount.
- Some items are not compatible for combined shipping.
- Combining shipping might require changing the shipping method or increase packaging materials expense.
- A few items that I offer are not eligible for combined shipping.
- Of course it is ok to ask about combined shipping costs up front. You have to tell me exactly what you intend to buy and where it will be shipped. I can't always give an exact cost, but I can at least give you an estimate.
- I reserve the right to limit the number or total value of items that I'm willing to send in a single package.
- For international sales I use ebay's international shipping program. Combined shipping depends on the ebay shipping program rules in place at the time of shipment. It is possible that no combined shipping discount is available for international orders.
