Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab 12” 33 rpm stereo LP The Blues Alone (MFSL 1-246)
This is not a standard issue Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab vinyl LP. It is one of their ultra-premium 200 gram “ANADISQ 200” records, which are individually numbered and produced in much more limited quantities. These are arguably the best-sounding and most desirable audiophile records made. This one was mastered from the original analog studio tapes of the classic John Mayall album from 1967.
The vinyl is NM, and looks brand-new, except for a couple of almost imperceptible scratches on side one that will have no effect on playback. I have no idea how these got there, since I bought this item new, and it has never been played.
The gatefold sleeve is likewise NM, and looks brand-new. The seams are perfect. There is a small crease on the front, but no wear of any kind. The original MFSL inner sleeve and cardboard disc holder are included.
Item will be packed in foam sheets and shipped in an appropriate carton.
