*THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION*
This is the very rare original first crownless King pressing of James Brown and the Famous Flames Tour the USA on King 804 released in 1962. True stereo pressings of this LP do not exist. Only first pressings have the custom back cover. Later pressings advertise other King LP's. This LP defines James Brown moving more into his own style as the size of his orchestra was increasing. Also, this LP demonstrates Brown's vocal range and why he was called Mr. Dynamite. A must have for anyone who appreciates 60's Soul and R&B.
VINYL
With full & very shiny gloss and great high fidelity, this LP grades NM- with only a few very, very light paper hairline marks, which were likely on the vinyl when it was first opened. King is notorious for its imperfect unplayed vinyl.
COVER
With vibrant colors and no age discoloration is VG+ with some seam and minor ring wear and corner dings.
This LP is difficult to find in any condition, so don't let this very rare original gem at a low starting bid and a no reserve pass you by!! I am a conservative careful grader (check my feedback) who guarantees (for 14 days after auction is over) everything I sell.
MY LISTINGS WILL NEVER BAFFLE YOU WITH BS!
PLEASE NOTE: All vinyl/cover descriptions are clear with no language such as, "I suspect," I hope" or "Should," used. All photos are of the front and back covers and the label of the actual item you are bidding on. What you see is what you get!! SO BID WITH CONFIDENCE!.
About Payment and Shipping
I accept Paypal (preferred), USPS money orders and checks (will hold item until check clears). I ship Priority mail in reinforced packaging next business day after receipt of payment (except checks), and recommend you pay for insurance as I cannot be responsible for USPS imposed damage. I must receive payment within 7 days of auction end, unless for some unforeseen reason, which you will e-mail me about ASAP. International bidders, please wait for me to give you shipping total and I only accept Paypal (NO CASH!!!) and only ship airmail. I have other great R&B LP's I will be listing, so please watch out for them. If you have any ????, please feel free to email me. Thanks for looking.
About the Seller
I buy and sell R&B ORIGINAL vinyl only-- no reissues abide in my world. I believe in treating my bidders the way I want to be treated when I'm bidding. I try to grade conservatively and have someone accuse me of under grading, rather than over grading!!
