The history of this vintage vinyl:
This vintage vinyl all comes from the same collection. This collection was originally willed to the library at the University of South Florida, in Tampa, by a benefactor in Sarasota. The collection was never used or displayed by the library due to lack of resources. This collection is well over 20,000 pieces, all of which we will be listing on Ebay over the coming months. Vinyl Condition: A side: VG++/near mint- / B Side (obviously less played): Mint-/Near mint++ (Listen to the sound quality on our somewhat cheap turntable, unedited/unrestored!)
Sleeve Condition: Original dance party sleeve with age wear/top edge is seam split 1/3 way across, fairly significant age yellowing, staining, writing, otherwise very nice.. plus white generic

We do not know how the purchased item will sound when played by the buyer. We can only make reasonable inference on the record's condition based on its visual appearance. The bidders should be cautioned that every bid carries a risk that the purchased item will underperform, or play worse than its visual grade may indicate. In addition, play-grading standards are utterly subjective: one bidders light, tolerable surface noise is another bidders unbearable, degrading clatter. Our grading standards are not subject to dispute or debate, either during or after the auction. Bidders who have any doubts that our grading is up to their standards should either seek clarification from us while the auction is still in progress, or refrain from bidding altogether.
Music snippets are recorded as mp3 on an ION turntable, and are uncleaned, unedited RAW versions (no software used to clean them up). Your listening experience may vary depending on the equipment/software you use

All vinyl is shipped in professional quality record mailers. Insurance optional but recommended for domestic bidders, mandatory for international bidders. Insurance rates higher if order totals more than $50.00

Simply perfect!

Condition is a subjective thing.. We use a modified version of the Goldmine grading standard. It is modified because we are unable to play every vintage vinyl listing. Our system is based on a visual inspection as follows (unless specifically noted as play graded):
Mint: Absolutely perfect in every way, we would only use this grade with a sealed item
Near Mint: No obvious signs of play/wear.
VG+: Some signs of play, possibly some slight scuffs or very light scratches that shouldn't affect listening experience.
VG: Possible surface noise upon play, light scratches.
Good: Plays fine without skipping but has surface noise, scratches and/or visible groove wear.

Label and sleeve condition is noted within the item description. Label scans are for detail only, we do not have a high detail scanner, show image often shows worse than item actually is!

We do not list poor/fair condition vinyl (although as yet we haven't even come across one in this condition in this collection!) unless very rare or highly collectible
