Description

PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

RARE Paul Richmond mastered Atlantic SD 7201 Presswell edition from 1974 with So Mote Be It/Do What Thou Wilt and Mastercraft dead wax etchings, original fully functioning wheel with completely intact rivet, and original Atlantic black & white "memo book" style printed inner sleeve!!!  LP is a beautiful near mint minus and cover is easily VG+, close to VG++, with a few small stains on the rear only.  Auction also includes a gorgeous full color glossy 8 X 10 photo of Jimmy Page that has been signed in bold gold print!!  This was part of a massive Zeppelin collection I purchased years ago that included some astounding rarities that sold for eye-watering sums, including a Robert Plant signed Christmas card, so I don't doubt the authenticity of this piece for a moment but since I am not the original owner I cannot confirm nor deny it, though it comes with a COA and absolutely looks like the real deal.  Judging from Jimmy's appearance in this photo it was most likely taken in the mid-90s to early 00s, possibly during his stint with the Black Crowes or sometime thereabouts.

I USE GOLDMINE GRADING:
MINT (SEALED)
NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE
VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
