Nirvana, Nevermind, Genuine First Pressing Promo LP (August-September 1991, DGC). Black vinyl with original gold promo print on the back sleeve. The original insert is also included. Matrix codes: masterdisk DGC 24425-A-GLI. This promo LP comes with its original promo press kit, which includes: one page with Kurt Cobain’s comments about each song of Nevermind (on DGC letterhead), two-page stapled history of the band (on DGC letterhead), and one original 8x10 glossy promo photo (not a reproduction). In the late Summer of 1991, this promo Nevermind LP and its press kit were sent to radio stations and music magazines in order to promote Nirvana’s upcoming album. The official release of Nevermind was September 24th, 1991. I purchased the whole package from a collector in the late 1990s. Very hard to find. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
