Description
Up for auction is the incredibly rare PROMOTIONAL copy of NIRVANA’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” on GOLD VINYL. This was made in a VERY LIMITED EDITION of ONLY 2000 COPIES. This 12 inch single was released on DGC Records through a special arrangement with SUB POP Records from 1991. Both the jacket and the label on the vinyl state that this is “Promotion Only. Not For Sale.” The spine of the sleeve reads PRO-A-4314 NIRVANA “SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT” “EVEN IN HIS YOUTH”/“ANEURYSM” DGC. This version of “Aneurysm” is different from that on the “Incesticide” album. Last week, one of these sold on eBay for $152.50, so should use the Buy It Now to get a great deal or be sorry later...

(there is a stamped MASTERDISK SRC in which the R and C are in the top and bottom of the S)
B Side: PRO-A-4314-B-(then GL1 has been crossed out) SR1
(there is a stamped SRC in which the R and C are in the top and bottom of the S)
It doesn’t get any better than this! The sleeve shows some shelf wear and scuffs, and there is a rub on the bottom at the center of the jacket; but the corners are SHARP. The vinyl is in NEAR MINT condition, with no visible scuffs or scratches. You will NEVER find a better copy anywhere!!!
