There they are back again, even though they weren't never really gone. We're talking about the Cologne melodic death metal band NIGHT IN GALES, which has been spreading its musical effusions since 1995. 3 years after ''The Last Sunsets'' out now their 7th sign of life with ''Dawnlight Garden'' and 11 another tracks. Not only that the original vocalist Christian Müller, who before could only be heard on the debut EP ''Sylphlike'', returned in 2018, but also the focus on the Death Metal roots and a much more original sound, which also found on ''Dawnlight Garden'' was consistently pursued. For everyone who combines Melodic Death with a lot of bludgeoning and frenzy, but also a good portion of gloom, NIGHT IN GALES are definitely a must in addition to the current AT THE GATES stuff. With ''Dawnlight Garden'' the people of Cologne don´t have to hide from the Gothenburgers, but are at least currently at the eye level. 25 years of melodic death metal of Swedish nature, ''Dawnlight Garden'' is a worthy anniversary album! Here in classic black vinyl edition, limited to 200 copies with an extra lyric insert packed in gatefold jacket.
