ARTIST: NICK DRAKE
TITLE: BRYTER LAYTER
LABEL: ISLAND ILPS 9134
This is the legendary second (and for many the best) LP by the folk/psych genius Nick Drake called 'Bryter Layter'. The music is fabulous and really unclassifiable - great contributions from Chris McGregor, John Cale, Ray Warleigh, Dave Mattacks and Dave Pegg with back up vocals by PP Arnold and Doris Troy. Why wasn't this guy rated in his own lifetime!!
This record is in seriously AMAZING condition. I want to describe it carefully because this is the best copy of this LP I have seen - practically brand new and it will never need to be upgraded.
The vinyl is virtually MINT and the SOUND on what is a very quiet LP is flawless - there are only 3 very light marks on side one (none on side 2) but these do not sound except for a very quiet (I missed it first time its so light) pop on 2 revolutions.
Otherwise this LP looks and sounds MINT - there is NO reduction in sound quality at all!!!!
The labels are CLEAN - UNMARKED and MINT.
The COVER must rate a very strong EXCELLENT (if not better) - no edge wear, sharp opening edges, perfectly straight readable spine and practically no cover wear. (SEE PHOTOS)
Altogether a fabulous copy of a great LP. Low starting bid for a seriously rare item and no reserve. You will not find a better copy without a time machine to take you back to 1970!!

VERY GOOD: The record has been played and has some marks but little lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents show some wear.
GOOD:The record has been played and alot and sound quality has deteriorated noticeably. The cover and contents are damaged.
