The trouble with being a massive Nick Drake fan is that every now and then a very special record comes along that is very hard to part with, this is one of those times. This will probably be the best example of this record you will ever see... This album has been re-listed due to the fact the previous winner could only pay via Paypal - an option we do not accept, their loss is your gain -  this time when it's gone its gone! This was the third and final album Nick recorded, and also the most disturbing, quite probably a reflection of his state of mind toward the end. This is the absolute best UK 1st pressing of this record I have ever had the pleasure of coming across. This Vinyl is in absolutely beautiful Mint- condition. This record is in stunning Mint- condition!!! The Classic UK 1st Press Pink Rim centre labels are in stunning Nr MINT condition with NO Tears, NO Peeling, NO Scribbles and NO unwanted writing of any kind! There is the faintest trace of a solitary spindle line on each side proving, as the previous owner told me, that this album was played just once from brand new; she purchased it from new on the week of its release, played it once, hated it, went back to her trusted copy of Five Leaves Left and never listened to it again - wow! Anyways, as you'd expect it is in absolutely perfect Mint- condition both visually and aurally. The vinyl has NO Scratches, No groove-wear, NO warping, No Factory Faults, NO Blemishes - nothing! Just the faintest hairlines may be seen when angling the record under bright sunlight which are totally invisible under normal light and are simply caused by removing the record from the inner sleeve!!  This thick quality 1st press chunky 1970's vinyl is totally pristine!!! It feels great in the hand! I would have to grade this vinyl as NR MINT at the very least!!! Please note we do not over-grade our records at all, if in any doubt we always under-grade.

The classic1st press non-laminated Gatefold Sleeve is also remarkable.  Due to Islands Records policy of non-lamination, these sleeves suffered absolutely terrible wear and always turn up totally worn out and really lame looking. In fact I strongly doubt that more than a handful exist in Mint- condition anymore. This one however is superb, and a fitting sleeve for this record. Whilst not Mint- it grades as a very respectable Ex, which, when graded accurately using strict RC grading standards (which most sold on eBay are not) is seriously rare itself. It retains ALL of its beautiful factory pressed matt finish.  There are NO Tears, NO writing/doodles and NO tape or tape marks. The corners are still sharp with only light wear. It still retains its original box shape beautifully (I have tried to show this on the images) and is completely blemish free with all it stunning factory matt sheen intact (again, I have tried to show this in the images). There is a very light and faint stress line (only visible under strong light) that runs horizontally through the middle of the outside of the front and back gatefold, but is not on the inside There is also a very small and insignificant scuff patch on the bottom right corner. The top edge shows no edge wear at all, whilst the spine has only very minor wear. The bottom edge has patches of heavier wear, though still much much better than most. All in all, a superb example of this very rare and fragile sleeve.

This amazing record would not be complete without its correct original 'Made In Great Britain' and 'Patent' light blue poly-lined Island company inner sleeve. And this does not disappoint; it is also in Stunning NR MINT condition!!!!  No heavy creasing, nice flat and crisp with no tears, an no separating of the inner poly lining!

All our records are strictly graded under strong light using the UK Record Collector Grading System (see chart below for a full guide). The item you see in the images is actual item being sold. All records come shipped in either cruciform or regular sturdy purpose-designed record mailers, (with stiff cardboard inserts added for extra protection). All records are professionally cleaned and packaged outside the outer sleeves to prevent seam stress during transit.
