Description
NICK DRAKE Pink Moon LP *original* 1972 made in England. I am not a record grader, I'm an amateur at this but I have accumulated a lot of albums and it is time to sell some as I am retired. PLEASE check all the info and photos, and questions are welcome. This LP looks good to me, the cover has wear as shown. (The spine is almost unreadable).
I am about to digitize this using a Pioneer PL-71 but I am having speed issues with the TT which I am trying to address. I have had this album for years but have only recently played it for a few minutes. I did buy it used years ago. I will add to the description after I play it through while monitoring it. This is NOT mint or NOS, keep in mind that it is 50 years old.
Note that shipping times are increasing across the board, I have no control over that. USA SHIPPING ONLY
Addition: I played both sides and it sounds fine save for a few 'crackles' here and there, mostly in between tracks. No 'skips'. There should be no problem playing this on a properly set up quality turntable. My stylus brush picked up some dust so I would recommend a cleaning. I am not a vinyl expert so I won't attempt a cleaning.
On May-19-22 at 12:05:43 PDT, seller added the following information:Addition: Listening to the digital copy I made today, I can hear 2 light 'pops' around the 10-15 second mark of 'Pink Moon'. Cleaning may take care of it but I won't experiment on this rare album. Please bid accordingly.
