Please note this copy should be considered as a collection filler. The vinyl itself has light hairline marks and has a nice gloss sheen. However, the album does have a warp which affects the sound quality for at least the first third of each side. I played the album on a Goldring Lenco GL75 with tracking at 1.5gms. At this weight the needle skipped. I added around an extra gram and the album played through. Clearly after a while the extra weight is not needed. That said there is some background crackle for the first couple of tracks which may be due to the warping. It is not overpowering but it is there in the background until you get further into the album.
It is hard to properly grade this album because it will depend on how each system copes with the flaw. Overall I would probably grade as Fair since it does play pretty well with certainly less background noise than I have heard on other copies and visually if you bought this in a shop without playing you would think it was EX. Also the warp is actually not that visible.
The sleeve is also in Fair condition with substantial wear and tear and defacing (see pics). Happy bidding!

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,
despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc.
The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
I try to be as accurate as possible, however, we are all human so if there are any problems please let me know.
I have listened to the album a couple of times to give a better idea of how it plays.
Side One
The first track has the some distortion due to the warping right at the start and has the crackle/noise which is audible during the quiet sections but is not overpowering. The background noise is then audible during River Man along with some crackle/clicks. This is the track where the flaws are most evident. From River Man the album gets better and better with some really rich clear sound. Overall goes from Fair to EX.
Side Two The warping/noise is much less evident and the extra weight is barely needed after a minute or so. Goes from G- right at the start to VG+ by the end. There is some ticking at the start of Saturday Sun which brings this down from EX.
I own a smooth label copy of this album and the Japanese 200g version and I have to say overall this pressing is probably the richest in sound quality and all things considered a pleasure to listen to if as I say you can put up with the slightly worrying sight of the needle bouncing over the warp and the flaws above.
