This was Nick Drake's very first release in the United States during his lifetime. To a true Nick Drake fan, this is essential. There's something even more personal about owning a record that actually existed during his short life. It was released in 1971...ultimately a failed attempt to bring Nick's beautiful and perfect music to an American audience. The album went out of print over night, and has been impossible to find since. Copies of this album appear from time to time, but almost always with a cut-out notch or hole punch through the cover. Not this copy! This copy is nearly perfect. No holes, cuts, or tears in the cover of any kind. Even the gatefold cover is without any splitting. The original plain blue Island Records inner sleeve is included, and the record itself is flawless. This a beautiful copy a true Nick Drake fan must own.
