Here is another from my personal collection. Stored in a case for at least 25 years with the vinyl seperated from the sleeve and cover for protection!! This is how i have always stored my records!! This is very very hard to find in any condition! This is very near perfect all round! So So Rare!!!!mint audio!! Important note! Because of the scarcety of these early originals and the fact that not many were initially pressed fake copies or bootleg issues were released! This is the original and mega early copy with ''1'' to '1'' stampers carries the 'ILPS UK CAT NO AND HAS -2 MATRIX ENDINGS!!!!

Bryter Layter, recorded in 1970, was the second of three albums by British folk musician Nick Drake!!!.

Like Five Leaves Left, the album contains no unaccompanied songs: Drake was accompanied by part of the British folk rock group Fairport Convention and John Cale from The Velvet Underground, as well as Beach Boys musicians Mike Kowalski and Ed Carter!!!

The vinyl

This lays perfectly flat on the turntable and gleems looks as new!!!Any marks that could possibly be seern in strong light would be sleeve removal only (To be honest I can barely see a blemish at all) Important note! This is the thicker type of vinyl only found on these original pressings!

The Audio

This is perfect on my system plays as new indeed absolutely stunning throughout! None of the usual static crackle so ommon with these Island pressings! Please note most of these tracks are very very quiet and it is imperitive that only a good copy would ever sound great on this particular pressing! I would class myself as highly critial when it comes down to the audio quality and this plays as good as it gets throughout! Almost cd quality on my system! I played this through track for track at very loud volume on a top system and even between tracks this is silent!!! Absolutely stunning and very very rare to find!!

The Labels!

This is the original Island Palm Tree labels Near new condition! I can barely see two or three spider marks only when angled to the light! Please note! This has only ever been played by me initially, barely a handful of times to record to tape! Unbeleivably rare to find!! 

The reord Sleeve

This is the original Island advertising serpier sleeve originally issued with this album. In superbe condition (no) splits or tares!!Rare to find complete!!

The Cover!

This is the original (TEXTURED ROBOR PRINTED) UNLAMINATED COVER!! In very very near pristne condition throughout!! (no) splits or tares (no) creases!!!!! absolutely stunning archive copy!!!
